The Stepper Controller Peripheral Core project has released VHDL code under the Creative Commons License. The core allows the 1 Axis Stepper Controller Wing to be controlled through a register based interface. When coupled with the REDe Multi-Peripheral Core; Soft Processors and Tech adapters, such as the AVR8 and the Arduino Wing, can control the Stepper Controller Wing with C code. Parameters such as which Wing Slot the Stepper is connected to, direction, speed, and interrupts can all be controlled through registers.
