Here is a sneak peek at the VGA simulator that Alvaro has been working on to verify VGA designs. The VGA simulator is controlled by a sketch and simulates what the VGA output will look like when it will run on the VGA Wing connected to a Papilio board.
Up next is making this demo work with the VGA Wing on the Papilio One 250K and Papilio One 500K boards.
The Papilio Junior is a low cost microcontroller based Papilio board that is the first step towards what we are calling the Papilio Continuum. Applications that are rapid prototyped on the FPGA Papilio Board in the Arduino IDE can be downgraded to the much more cost effective Papilio Junior.
