PIC Cocoon v1.0 prototypes are being tested. Initial tests with basic code, flashing LEDs in different patterns and reading switches on a LED/Button Wing on each headers did well. Next is testing the 1-axis and 2-axis Stepper motor Wings and customizing the USB bootloader for this Cocoon.
Also in works are a slightly bigger version of the board that will have a Arduino shield adapter that takes most of the Arduino shields. Follow the development of these Cocoons on the project page.
Incidentally, we have a few of the initial prototype boards available for your evaluation. There is a small correction to be made on this board by cutting a track and making another connection nearby. This will of course be done in all assembled boards which will be available (especially in India) at reduced prices. Please contact support@gadgetfactory.net for more information.
