Do you need an easy way to generate Sin, Cosine, Sawtooth, and Square waveforms?
Take a look at this JaxHax video that shows a Sneak Peek at a waveform generation core that’s in the works. It allows Sin, Cos, Saw, and Square waves to be generated at a frequency of your choosing! The frequency can be controlled with a sketch or with a character LCD display. Some key points about the core:
- Controlled by sketch for maximum flexibility in user interface.
- Theoretically capable of speeds up to 300Mhz. (Only working up to 30Mhz in testing so far, but I’m sure it can be tweaked for better)
- Can output parallel waveforms to OLS client or DAC’s connected to Wingslots.
- Can be output through a software based Delta-Sigma DAC on any Papilio pin without need for external hardware.

So I’m curious, do you have a project that could benefit from this?
