Ultra-Embedded is at it again! this time with an OpenRISC CPU. After managing to run a ‘MPX’ soft-core processor on a Papilio One 250K board he have developed another soft-CPU project for this low-cost FPGA development board.
AltOR32 is an OpenRISC 1000 architecture derived RISC CPU targeted at small FPGAs and contains only the most basic ISA features from the OpenRisc project and it should run perfectly on the Papilio One.
Check out the project wiki page here to know how to get started on the Papilio One, find the source code download links and read more technical details about this interesting project.
