Three months ago Papilio user Wicked has shared with us his breackthrough of Multi Color Object Tracking with a Papilio One 500k and a cheap camera that he got from sparkfun for around $10, since then he has gone crazy with his project!
He managed to do some servo tracking with the project and then he upgraded it to a Two axis motion tracking system with NTSC television output using an existing wing design made by made by Papilio user Ben.
Lately he ordered some professional PCB’s and wrapped everything into one board and here it is assembled by hand using the new socket design:
Actually Jack and Wicked are working towards making this FPGA based vision system available for purchase at the Gadget Factory Store 🙂
